On August 14 2019 the Internet Society New York Chapter (ISOC-NY) formally agreed to act as fiscal sponsor for the the Internet Society Accessibility Special Interest Group (A11ySIG). This agreement gives A11ySIG the status of an ISOC-NY project and, since ISOC-NY is a 501(c)3 non-profit, means that donations to A11ySIG are tax-deductible in the United States.
